CHOICES SHORT LIST for the 11th SPOT SCHOOL AWARD

The jury of the 11th Spot School Award – Mediterranean Creativity Festival, presided by Annamaria Testa, with Federica Ariagno – Auge, Isabella Bernardi – Y&R – and Stefania Siani -BBDO, of ADCI, toghether with delegates of Aisla, Caritas Italy and Legambiente, and representatives of associations that give their endorsement to the award, are called yesterday morning to define shortlist of works presented by the students.
The next 2 June at Salerno, as tradition, the Ceremony Award with assignement of the Grand Prix Sipra-Comune di Salerno.
Over 100 works and campaigns carried out by over 700 students from numerous colleges and universities including: University of Torino, Università Lumsa in Rome, Accademia delle Arti e Nuove Tecnologie Rome, Accademia delle Belle Arti, Catania, Milan communication Academy Foundation, Centro Studi Hylas Naples, Naba Milan, Nad School Naples, Scuola Internazionale di Comics in Florence, Naples Suor Orsola Benincasa Institute. Particularly appreciated by the jury, press campaigns, those integrated video and graphic works and design.
A good quality of work, also with inevitable “naivete” of young participants, have satisfied jury and ONG who had entrusted their brief to Spot School Award.
“It was a very exciting and interesting experience for the quality of work in the race-said Vincenzo Soverino, Adviser Aisla Associazione Italiana amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, in which the most popular from the boys brief – and the sensitivity shown by the young participants allowed them to achieve the transmitted message in meetings held around the Italian schools. A contribution certainly helpful to increase the awareness of a disease that gives distress to patients and their families. ” Of equal alarm also the referents of the offices of the Italian Caritas and Legambiente, Paolo Brivio and Gianna Le Done who have followed with satisfaction the jury on the issues of theyr brief.
Spot School Award, which will conclude at the end of the month with the third Creative Campus and Award Cereminy, is supported by Italian Art Directors Club, Sipra that offering 3 pass for Cannes Lions to winners, and other association as Public Communication – Marco Magheri, Ferpi – Letizia Pini; Unicom – Rosaria Coppola and Italian Association of Illustrators.
Among the prizes to be awarded to winners, even packets of 200 images of the collection ICPunlimited2 offered by ICPonline, the technical books of Fausto Lupetti Editor and the Annual of ADCI.
